Travel Fellowship Awards - Domestic Candidates
The training of a new generation of psychiatric academicians is a major objective of the Society of Biological Psychiatry. Participation in professional meetings, where new information is exchanged and contacts are made, can have a critical impact on the career of a developing clinician-scientist.
In recognition of the importance of academic exchange, the Society of Biological Psychiatry (SOBP) annually selects distinguished young scientists to be a part of our Travel Fellowship Award program.

To receive the travel fellowship award, you are expected to attend the entire meeting and be present for the recognition events. Previous Travel Fellowship Award recipients are not eligible.
All travel award recipients will be matched with a meeting mentor and will participate in junior investigator activities throughout the meeting.
Although not required, the Society highly recommends that you submit an abstract for presentation at this meeting. Click here to submit an abstract for an oral or poster presentation. Oral or Poster abstract deadline is December 13, 2012.
To submit your application for the Society of Biological Psychiatry's Travel Fellowship Award, please complete the following form and upload the required documents. Applications will be accepted through November 30, 2012. Recipients will be announced by January 31, 2013.
